In December, the Government of Canada published proposed amendments to the Accessible Canada Regulations (ACRs) in Canada Gazette, Part I (CGI). These amendments would introduce a new part titled “Information and Communication Technologies” that would set out new requirements for both public and private sector federally regulated organizations, (including feed mills).
The CFIA has shared with ANAC the complete renewal package for products due for renewal on March 31, 2025.

Accessibility Standards Canada (ASC) recently announced the release of the CAN/ASC-1.1:2024 – Employment standard, which sets best practices for accessible employment. This equity-based standard has been officially approved as a National Standard of Canada by the Standards Council of Canada.
