Indo-Pacific region is looking for your feed innovations

ANAC recently met with the Regional Trade Commissioner covering agriculture and agri‑food across the Indo‑Pacific region, including livestock, feed and aquaculture. The Indo-Pacific Agriculture and Agri-Food (AAFC) office is keen to collaborate with members of the feed industry who would like to explore the possibility of bringing their innovative feed products to support the growth of livestock operations and food security in this region.

Share your thoughts on the new ICCF draft guidance document

A public consultation is now open on a new draft guidance document developed by the International Cooperation for Convergence of Technical Requirements for the Assessment of Feed Ingredients (ICCF), titled “Feed Ingredient Effectiveness Assessment – General Recommendation.” Members are encouraged to submit their comments to the ICCF by February 6, 2026.

Tariff remission has been expanded for US imports

The Canadian government is providing further relief from the payment of tariffs with the Order Amending the China Surtax Remission Order (2024) and the United States Surtax Remission Order (2025) (2025-1) (the “Remission Order”) which entered into force on October 15, 2025. The Remission Order provides an expansion of the United States Surtax Remission Order (2025), first implemented in April 2025, and amended in June 2025.
