ANAC joins the Canada-EU dialogue on sustainable agriculture

ANAC was pleased to take part in a high-level discussion on how environmental standards harmonization and supply chain diversification via the Canada-European Union (EU) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) Agri-Food Partnership can build a more resilient and competitive agricultural sector. The discussion, organized by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), involved representatives from across the Canadian agriculture sector and a European delegation touring the country to gain insights into the Canadian context.
