Researchers at Kansas State University recently shared the results of their study examining strategies to decontaminate a feed mill after African Swine Fever (ASF) or other animal diseases have inadvertently been introduced. In a webinar, ANAC members were presented with a clear explanation of the project and its findings and were given an opportunity to have their questions answered. The presentation slides and recording are now available to members.

The second edition of The Encyclopedia of Animal Nutrition has recently been published, providing an important resource for those working in agriculture, animal nutrition, the feed industry, as well as for students and researchers. This newly updated book covers animal nutrition with a global approach and includes a wide range of disciplines including physiology, biochemistry, veterinary medicine and feed technology.

The 2024 notices have been delayed until late December or January. The deadline for submitting renewal applications for registrations that expire on March 31, 2024 will be March 31 as in previous years. Once the modernized Feeds Regulations are published, it will be up to each business to determine which of their products will continue to require registration and therefore renewal. To help you make these decisions, ANAC hopes to provide a Product Registration Webinar ahead of the renewal deadline.
