This month, ANAC welcomed the first cohort of learners to the Canadian Feed Industry Education Program (CFIEP)’s Module 9: Hands-on workshop at the Canadian Feed Research Centre (CFRC). Participants from a variety of professional backgrounds came together to experience, firsthand, how the components of a Canadian feed mill work together to manufacture quality feed.

Member companies are taking advantage of the Canadian Feed Industry Education Program (CFIEP) to onboard new employees and offer further training for seasoned staff. To make the process easier, ANAC and the University of Guelph (the program’s online platform provider) now offer the option to set up a company account portal.

From May 7 to 9, more than 300 participants gathered in Niagara Falls, Ontario, for the 2025 Animal Nutrition Conference of Canada (ANCC). This annual event brought together feed industry professionals, government representatives, researchers, and students from across Canada and around the world to explore the latest developments in livestock nutrition.
