Dans les secteurs o\u00f9 l\u2019ergot est une pr\u00e9occupation rare ou relativement r\u00e9cente, cela peut \u00eatre probl\u00e9matique pour les meuneries soudainement confront\u00e9es \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence de l\u2019ergot dans les ingr\u00e9dients qu\u2019elles re\u00e7oivent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ANAC a charg\u00e9 Sean Thompson, du Feeds Innovation Institute \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de la Saskatchewan, de r\u00e9diger un livre blanc intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Reducing the impact of ergot in livestock feed\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0[R\u00e9duire l\u2019impact de l\u2019ergot dans les aliments du b\u00e9tail]. Un groupe d\u2019experts du Comit\u00e9 nutrition de l\u2019ANAC a fourni leurs commentaires et suggestions sur les pratiques commerciales associ\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019ergot. Le document entier examine la contamination des aliments du b\u00e9tail par l\u2019ergot, donnant entre autres des renseignements g\u00e9n\u00e9raux, des proc\u00e9dures d\u2019\u00e9chantillonnage pertinentes, ainsi que des strat\u00e9gies de r\u00e9duction du risque.
