The successful candidate will divide their time between office-based support for walk\u2011in clients and on\u2011farm visits throughout Alberta. Most of the role involves working directly with producers as a value\u2011added technical resource.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Partnering with new and existing clients to develop whole\u2011farm nutrition programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feed testing and interpretation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ration formulation, optimization, and troubleshooting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting with custom premix formulation and collaborating daily with the manufacturing team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participating in industry events and ongoing professional development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributing to a collaborative, supportive ruminant nutrition team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Exceptional people skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Animal Science\/Nutrition (minimum)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of the beef industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to travel to farms throughout Alberta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently and prioritize workload<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivation to learn and seek out information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accountability and professionalism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with ration balancing programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid Canadian driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High level of self\u2011confidence, positive attitude, maturity, and
