The inaugural edition of the Animal Nutrition Conference of Canada (ANCC) will be held at the Hilton in historic Quebec City on May 10th and 11th, 2017.
National Forum for the Newest Innovations and Research in Animal Nutrition
The ANCC is a dynamic conference that brings together researchers and feed industry specialists to exchange knowledge about the latest scientific developments related to livestock and poultry nutrition. This new national conference is a result of the amalgamation between the Eastern Nutrition Conference (celebrated 52 years in 2016) and the Western Nutrition Conference (celebrated 37 years in 2016). It is organized by the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada along with a committee of academic and industry representatives.
Focus on Nutritional Strategies to Reduce the Use of Antimicrobials in Animal Production
The theme of the 2017 conference is "Nutritional Strategies to Reduce the Use of Antimicrobials in Animal Production" and coincides with new anticipated regulations and policy changes in Canada regarding antibiotic usage. The pre-conference symposium will be held on the morning of May 10th and is being sponsored by Biomin America, Inc. The theme will be “Antibiotic-Free Livestock and Poultry Production: Challenges and Solutions”.
Preparations are well underway for a memorable event. We hope to see you there.
