Membership in the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada is open to feed and ingredients manufacturers and distributors who conduct business in Canada. Membership is also open to suppliers of services and products to the Canadian feed industry. 

Membership types

Regular Members: 

Type A – Commercial feed manufacturer and distributor: means a manufacturer/seller/distributor/agent of commercial feed including premixes, supplements and complete feeds.

Type B – Ingredient manufacturer and distributor: means a manufacturer/seller/distributor/agent of feed ingredients including pharmaceutical/animal health products, vitamins, trace minerals, flavours, enzymes, amino acids, micro-ingredients, macro minerals, plant-based ingredients and animal-based ingredients.

Type C – Ingredient manufacturer and distributor: means a manufacturer/seller/distributor/agent of feed ingredients including pharmaceutical/animal health products, vitamins, trace minerals, flavours, enzymes, amino acids, micro-ingredients, macro minerals, plant-based ingredients and animal-based ingredients that do not have direct sales and assets in Canada. If products from a Regular Member Type C are sold in Canada through a distributor, the distributor must also be a Regular Member Type B.

Associate Members:

Individual, partnership, corporation, firm, association or other business unit closely allied with the animal feed industry and/or supplying a service or product to the animal feed industry, and without limitation shall include the following:

• Industry Support Services (including consultants)
• Industry Suppliers (of products such as bags and machinery)
• Industry Associations
